Equality Act 2010
The Equality Act 2010 provides a new legislative framework to protect the rights of individuals and advance equality of opportunity for all.
The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995, amended in 2005 has now been superseded by the Equality Act 2010.
The new Equality Act Codes of Practice were issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission on 26 January 2011.
